Young people today face a unique set of challenges in the digital world, especially neurodivergent individuals who may experience the online space differently.
Lucy and Vicky will explore the impact of technology on the mental health and wellbeing of neurodivergent youth, offering practical advice on how to help them navigate the digital landscape safely.
This workshop is designed to empower parents, carers, and educators with practical tools to promote healthy digital habits among young people. From managing screen time effectively to fostering positive and mindful online behaviours, participants will gain insights into helping young people navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
The session will also raise awareness of common online scams and risky behavioural patterns, equipping adults with strategies to guide and protect young people in developing a balanced and secure relationship with technology.
South Glos Parent & Carers (SGPC) the local parent carer forum, will be on hand to provide support and signposting.
Register now to secure your place at our free workshop, Digital Well-being for Young People, on the 6th March, 2025, in Emersons Green Village Hall.
A photographer will be present at the sessions. If you prefer not to be photographed, we will provide you with a clearly identifiable lanyard or sticker.
