Developing digital and creative skills for disabled and neurodivergent young people and adults

Welcome to Scam Me from Project Sandbox, an innovative initiative by Inclusive Change at Work CIC (ICAW-cic.com) dedicated to enhancing digital safety and advocating for disability inclusion.

Working with funding from Avon & Somerset Police & Crime Commissioner we have created a series of podcast and radio episodes called Scam Me focussing on exploring a safer digital environment for disabled and neurodivergent individuals.

Here is what we have done so far

Between January and March 2025 we dedicated our Friday's to building digital skills and content creation at Inclusive Change At Work CIC.

We have co-produced a series of podcast episodes with and for our community, made possible by our series and episode sponsors.

Our team are now busy editing and producing new episodes that will bring to life the voices of young people in our community including E-Act Venturers Academy, FACE Youth Charity in Filton, Pauls Place, South Glos Disability Equality Network and students from Bristol Institute of Performing Arts.

Our talented volunteers were involved in many aspects of this project. Lucy, Mark and Rhianwen were joined by our team Cam, Becca and Emily each week. We also brought in the talent from Bristol Institute of Performing Arts to practice their voiceover skills so a big shout out to Heidi, James and Tom. Thank you to Owen at Scribblewhiskers.com for their artwork which you can see all over this page. Thanks also to Wayne at Refresh Video who filmed and produced our pilot episode with Becca and Lucy.

From researching the topics and writing the scripts, to setting up podcast equipment and helping create artwork and web-pages, their help has been invaluable in making sure this project is a success.
